After the launch of OpenAI’s groundbreaking ChatGPT, the rise of AI conversational tools has skyrocketed, with hundreds more such tools being launched since ChatGPT’s debut. Even Microsoft and Google entered the AI-arms race with BingChat and Google Bard, respectively.
Recently, Snapchat also entered this race with its My AI conversation tool. You can use it directly from the Snapchat website or app. Now, you will soon get to see sponsored links and ads on your conversations, thanks to Snapchat’s new partnership with Microsoft.
Here, Microsoft has decided to leverage a new tool called Ads API that allows them to show ads on your conversations with Snapchat’s My AI conversational AI tool.
This is expected to revolutionize digital marketing since it will lead to advertisers seeing conversational AI tools as new advertising platforms. Microsoft has done it again, and it seems to be a great new move.
This can potentially mean more Return on Investment (ROI) for advertisers and digital marketers in 2023 and beyond!
I believe this move will soon be made by others as well. I expect Google to copy this first since they already have one of the biggest digital advertising platforms in Google Ads. Now, you might soon see Google Ads appearing in your conversations with Google Bard!
