Understanding Risk and Reward in Stock Market Investing

Currently, India has the largest number of YouTube viewers – I am not surprised, considering how my parents spend a good three hours scrolling on YouTube. And they are not the only ones – we are all doing the same thing.
The truth is, we are all on YouTube for hours every day. And with India taking the center stage in YouTube viewership, finding out who are the top YouTubers in India is highly entertaining – not to mention relevant.
I was shocked to find that there are no women in this list. Yes, if you Google, you will see that there are no women in lists featuring not just 10 but even 20 YouTubers in the country.
To be honest, I don’t know how to feel about it, but on a closer look, I came across an even more shocking fact: “Among YouTube’s top 50 most-subscribed creators, only seven are women.” Out of 50 top YouTubers in the world, only 7 are women! Let that sink in..
With a heavy heart and an injured ego, I’m going to write about the top YouTubers in India – all of whom are men (no surprises there)!
Stay tuned!
I’m going to keep this really short, simple, and relevant! So, without wasting time, let’s check out the top YouTubers in India:
Ajay Nagar, A.K.A CarryMinati, is one of the top YouTubers in India currently. This local from Faridabad launched his channel, Stealth Fearzzz, 15 years ago in 2010, thanks to his love for Football.
This YouTube channel failed to garner views, and Ajay launched his second channel, Addicted A1, that primarily focused on doing entertaining commentaries on different gameplays. Again, he failed to make this channel a success.
Finally, inspired by the video format of Leafyishere, Ajay started creating roast videos on gameplay. Ajay changed the name of his YouTube channel and named it CarryDeol in 2015. Later, he again changed the name to CarryMinati.
It was only in 2017 that CarryMinati’s channel crossed a million subscribers – needless to say, the iconic gold play button from YouTube also followed, with Time Magazine featuring Ajay in the list of ‘Top 10 Next Generation Leaders.’
Fans love CarryMinati for his hilarious commentary, reactions, and overall performances on different online subjects. Also, he started two other YouTube channels later: CarryMinati Production Official and CarryisLive.
Currently, Ajay A.K.A Ajjubhai is India’s most subscribed YouTuber with fans across the globe for his entertaining gaming videos. Famous for his viral channel, Total Gaming, Ajay primarily streams gaming content – his Garena Free Fire content drives a huge number of views.
Moreover, his exceptional talent in pulling Free Fire off attracts a huge number of fans across the globe. In addition to Free Fire, this popular YouTuber also live-streams other PC games, including Minecraft, on YouTube.
Also, Ajju Bhai is famous for offering additional perks to his subscribers. This includes organizing fun events like Custom Rooms and Free Fire tournaments as a surprise for his subscribers, keeping them hooked to the channel.
Fans love Ajju Bhai’s entertaining videos and friendly gameplay on YouTube. In addition to this channel, Ajju Bhai also has three other channels: Ajjubhai, TG Highlights, and Total Gaming Live.
Ashish Chanchlani is literally the OG – he was one of the first YouTubers who gained popularity in the country. Hailing from Maharashtra’s Ulhasnagar, Chanchlani grew up watching and admiring Bollywood movies, thanks to his dad’s single-screen movie theater.
Chanchlani’s love for movies made him very passionate about pursuing acting. Subsequently, he gave up on his engineering degree and joined acting classes. In 2009, Chanchlani launched his YouTube channel and won hearts with his authentic and humorous content.
Inspired by the then-popular Vine culture, Chanchlani tried to create the same format of short-form videos for his channel. Moreover, before YouTube, Chanchlani used to create funny videos for social media, which had already made him somewhat famous.
But once his YouTube channel picked up, Chanchlani started posting content consistently on his channel, which steadily contributed to the growth of subscribers. Finally, in 2019, the channel had over 10 million subscribers. Also, it should be mentioned that Chanchlani won the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award in 2018 for being the Best Digital Influencer of that year.
Bhuvneshwar Ram is one of the top YouTubers in India currently! Hailing from Gujrat, this popular YouTuber is an actor, singer, comedian, and writer. In 2015, Bhuvneshwar launched his YouTube channel, which primarily focused on making his audience laugh with his amusing charisma and hilarious videos.
Moreover, Bhuvneshwar was also the first YouTuber in the country to cross the 10 million mark in terms of subscribers. Also, he was the first Indian YouTuber to be invited to the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.
In addition, he had also acted in Plus-Minus, a short film that went on to win a Filmfare. Plus, you must have seen him in music videos like Sang Hoon Tere, Ajnabee, Teri Meri Kahani, and more.
Bhuvneshwar also won a Webtvasia award for having the most popular YouTube channel in 2016. The YouTube star also bagged a feature in Forbes India’s 30 Under 30. Bhuvneshwar also runs another channel, BB Ki Vines Productions.
Popular for his excellent gaming videos, Ujjwal Chaurasia is a famous Indian YouTuber. Born in Delhi, Ujjwal has an excellent fan base across social media channels, which also contributes to his success as an influencer.
Initially, Ujjwal faced different challenges. However, he was able to become successful after publishing his viral GTA Gameplay Web Series.
Moreover, Ujjwal also does content covering other games like Hitman 2, Resident Evil 3, Minecraft, and more – and his huge audience base loves these videos. In addition to making videos on gameplay, Ujjwal has also explored a career in the hip-hop landscape, recording a song called Game On.
Game On went on to garner 62 million views on YouTube. Apart from his main YouTube channel, he runs another channel with more than 8 million subscribers.
It is a tale as old as time in India – three friends deciding to start something of their own. Three friends decided to give up on education and start their own venture on YouTube – something Indian families are not likely to support.
YouTubers Wasim, Zayn, and Nazim were no different. But when the three did come together to start their own channel and embark on a new journey, success was inevitable. From science fiction to comedy, the trio went after every other genre, creating videos people liked watching.
They had only one goal: to make their channel famous! And soon their dream was a reality – not only did they become famous, but they also made some good money. Moreover, these YouTubers made it to the very first YouTube Fanfest they hosted in Delhi. In addition to making videos for YouTube, the trio also plans on making short films, web series, and more in the future.
Dilraj Singh Rawat is one of the top YouTubers in India currently. Hailing from Ajmer, Rajasthan, Mr. Hacker has taken the whole internet by storm since his arrival, thanks to his videos on life hacks and science experiments.
While some people on this list have been around for years, Rawat is relatively new to the scene. He started his channel in 2o21 and his first video, ‘How to open lock without key, iPhone bend test’, was enough to push views and subscribers!
Moreover, Rawat often does science experiments on his YouTube channel, but the best part is how he is always cautious and gets an expert to chaperone him.
In addition to creating videos on life hacks and science experiments, he also creates videos featuring interviews with well-known Indian celebrities like R. Madhavan. Also, Rawat has two other YouTube channels called Mr. Titanium and Dilraj Singh.
Hailing from UP’s Bulandshahr, Amit Bandana is famous for his prank and dubbing videos. Also, he is a well-known social media influencer and celebrity with fans across different social media platforms.
Amit started his journey with a dubbing video, which went viral on Facebook, and this was his launchpad. His interest in creating such videos grew, and soon he started publishing regularly on YouTube.
Moreover, Amit has always enjoyed making people laugh with his sense of humor and jokes – this nature transformed into a full-time career once he grew up. In addition to his main channel, he also has another YouTube channel known as Amit Bhadana Dwitiya.
Sandeep Maheshwar is not just famous in the Indian subcontinent – he is known across the globe as a famous motivational speaker and YouTuber. Moreover, he is not only well-known as a YouTuber but also has inspired so many people to lead happy lives.
We are fans of his origin story – Sandeep failed several times in his life before he was able to taste any success. He started his career in modeling, but soon he realized how he was being exploited by the industry. This kind of made him move to photography – during this time, he lent a lot of support to many aspiring models.
Over the years, Sandeep has won several entrepreneurship awards, including the Pioneer of Tomorrow Award, the Young Creative Entrepreneur Award, and more.
In addition to his main YouTube channel, Sandeep also runs another channel called SandeepMaheshwariSpirituality. His videos on YouTube have millions of views – this is particularly true for Sandeep’s content on motivational quotes.
