With more platforms getting into generative AI and making tools that serve different purposes, there is more need for perfection and improvement in the tools. YouTube has just got into generative AI with its own in-stream Chatbot. Now, OpenAI shares a preview of its customized AI bots and bot creation tools at its first developer conference.
With this preview, OpenAI plans to bring some refinement in generative AI tools. Alongside existing tools like ChatGPT, Gleen AI enhances the accuracy and relevance of generative AI responses. Today, ChatGPT can create human-like content, but it cannot replace a human writer because it lacks an emotional connection, and it does not produce a piece that is free of errors.
According to OpenAI, these new customized AI bots and bot creation tools will be more specific in their tasks. These will be able to serve different industries based on their specific requirements.
In other words, it has been a year since ChatGPT has been launched. Now, OpenAI wants to create a platform where one can customize ChatGPT for different needs.
OpenAI issued a statement about this recent development.
“Since launching ChatGPT, people have been asking for ways to customize ChatGPT to fit specific ways that they use it. We launched Custom Instructions in July that let you set some preferences, but requests for more control kept coming. Many power users maintain a list of carefully crafted prompts and instruction sets, manually copying them into ChatGPT. GPTs now do all of that for you.” (source: The Verge)
But why is this change important in the world of generative AI? It’s because tools like ChatGPT have a massive record of data sets. So, it’s difficult for the tools to find an exact match from the pool of data and be sure about semantic matching. However, with this customization, the tools will now have a more targeted or confined data set, and the output will be relevant and in accordance with the industry standards.
The next big platform to get into generative AI is Meta. It is working on its AI Studio Project.
